Continuing Professional Development(CPD) 2024-25The CPD year for ALL agents has changed and now runs from the 1st July to the 30th June the following year in line with the financial year. CPD training can still be completed any time during this period regardless of your renewal date. You will still need to renew your Licence on your usual renewal date. Unique Training Providers has been approved by NSW Fair Trading to deliver the Compulsory CPD topics for the 2024-25 CPD year. Please use the following link to the approved providers. Class 1 and Class 2 agents registered through NSW Fair Trading are required to complete annual CPD training set out as follows: Holders of just one category of class 1 or 2 licence will be required to complete a minimum of five hours CPD training, including four compulsory topics set for their licence type Compulsory topics must be delivered in a face-to-face interactive training environment or an interactive webinar.

If you are unable to complete training in an interactive environment, you may complete a minimum of 10 hours of CPD by distance learning as an alternative. This must include all compulsory topics relevant to your licence category, plus additional training to make up a total of 10 hours.

Distance Learning
If you cannot attend a face to face session, you have the option to complete your CPD requirements via distance learning, however, you must complete a minimum of ten hours to include compulsory and other topics.

Assistant Agent - must complete at least 3 units from the relevant Certificate IV Qualification each year as a pathway to Licence within four years.

All Licensees in Charge MUST have a training plan in place to develop and monitor further training requirements for their staff. A great way to remain compliant with this requirement would be to attend workshops on topics relevant to your job role. We are regularly running our workshops throughout the CPD year.
